This section provides solutions to situations that can occur during the installation and operation of

the DGL-3420 Wireless Gaming Adapter.

1. What should I do if I encounter problems while

conﬁguring the DGL-3420 using my Xbox?

For solutions to conﬁguration problems that you encounter while using your Xbox, please go to the

If you are not using a DHCP capable router, or you need to assign a static IP address, please follow

these instructions:

Click on Start in the upper screen (shown at upper right).

Then click on Control Panel in that same screen

In the lower screen (shown at lower right), double-click on Control Panel.

2. How do I assign a static IP address in Windows XP/2000?

Please note that routers will automatically assign IP addresses to the computers on the network,

using DHCP (Dynamic Host Conﬁguration Protocol) technology. If you are using a DHCP-capable

router you will not need to assign static IP addresses.
