Authentication:

Wireless MAC

Clone

Use the drop-down menu to choose Open System or WPA Personal.

Select Open System to communicate the key across the network.

Select WPA-Personal to secure your network using a password and dynamic key changes. No RADIUS server is required.

For more information about the dierent types of Authentication oered on the DAP-3690 and the respective settings of each,

please go to the rst page of the Authentication explanations which begins on page 23.

MAC Address:

Click the box to enable the Wireless MAC Clone feature. Enabling this option allows the user to manually assign the source MAC

addresstopacketsforwardedbytheDAP-3690.Ifdisabled,thepacket’ssourceMACaddresseldwillbeautomaticallyselected

astheDAP-3690’sMACaddress.

Use the drop-down menu to select either Auto or Manual.

If you selected Manual for the MAC Source above, you can either click the Scan button to search for all available devices connected

toyourDAP-3690’sEthernetportormanuallyenteraMACaddressinthespaceprovided.
