Check Your MAC Address
A Media Access Control (MAC) address is a unique identier assigned to network adapters to identify them on a network. MAC addresses are also
useful for identifying the devices attached to network adapters. If you need to nd out your computer’s MAC, follow the steps below:
• Click on Start > Run. In the run box type cmd and click OK.
(Windows 8/7/Vista

users can also type cmd in the Start >
Search box.)
• At the prompt, type ipcong /all and press Enter.
• Locate your network adapter (you may need to scroll up
through the information delivered).
• Your network adapter’s MAC address will be displayed as
Physical Address.
